Born different I am

Born broken, they say

Because I’m odd, I should pay

Slaughter the “crippled” lamb

 

They call it help, a cure

But I’m not diseased

They think the distinct should cease

Of that I’m truly sure

 

If your mind is “unwell”

If you’re abnormal

If you’re “impaired”, stand tall

Don’t buy the “cures” they sell

 

We think different

We’re human

We’re here,

And here we will stay
