Them

In my most private moments

I thought I was alone

And then they came to me

And they chilled me to the bone

They cling to me, won’t let go

They mock me, insult me,

They tell me that I’m trash,

They never stop nor leave me

They appear to me through screens,

Or whisper in my ear

Please make them go away

I can’t bear them while they’re here
